Avellino – Anche quest’anno il Museo Irpino partecipa alla Giornata Internazionale dei Musei aprendo per l’occasione i propri depositi all’interno del Carcere Borbonico di Avellino.
Da Giovedì 18 maggio sarà visitabile l’area riservata del Museo dove per la prima volta saranno esposti oggetti provenienti dal resto del mondo, prove di uno speciale momento del collezionismo in Irpinia. In mostra testimonianze dalla Cina e dal Giappone, dal Sud America, dall’Egitto, dalla Libia, dall’Etiopia e dal Medio Oriente, paesi apparentemente lontani ma che, anche alla luce dei recenti eventi migratori, sono molto più vicini di quanto si possa pensare.
La mostra nei depositi rimarrà aperta fino al 9 giugno, per un dietro le quinte del Museo tutto da scoprire.
L’iniziativa è ideata e curata da Mediateur e promossa dalla Provincia di Avellino: un altro dei tanti appuntamenti della primavera al museo che non smette di stupire.
