Napoli – E’ un week end speciale il 20 e 21 maggio, perché lo Zoo di Napoli ha aderito alla campagna EAZA “Let it Grow” per la conoscenza e sensibilizzazione del pubblico sul tema delle specie autoctone. Le specie autoctone infatti, sono quelle che appartengono ad un determinato territorio ed in equilibrio con l’ambiente e con l’ecosistema specifico del posto.
Partecipando a questa importante campagna firmata EAZA (european association ZooS and Acquaria) lo Zoo di Napoli vuole contribuire a migliorare la conoscenza delle specie italiane e, in maniera più ampia, di quelle europee. Per tutto il week-end del 20 al 21 Maggio si svolgeranno allo Zoo degli approfondimenti didattici su alcune specie presenti nel parco e di particolare interesse. Sia sabato che domenica all’interno del rettilario vi saranno diverse specie di rettili europei, ed alle ore 12:00 e alle ore 15:00 gli operatori scientifici accopagneranno il pubblico in un breve percorso guidato alla scoperta di questi animali. Mentre un secondo percorso guidato partirà dal piazzale d’ingresso alle 10:30 e alle 14:30, condotto dallo staff scientifico dello Zoo che accompagnerà i visitatori in visita nel parco, alla scoperta delle specie di rettili e mammiferi europei.
